DAY 1: WELCOME TO LIMA, CITY OF KINGS AND LARCO MUSEUM OF PRE-HISPANIC CULTURES

Visit to the Historic Center (built during the founding of Lima).

DAY 2: CUSCO, CAPITAL OF THE INCA EMPIRE AND ITS SURROUNDINGS

Arrival in the city of Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

Visit to the Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park, a beautiful place that evokes peace and tranquility, where you will admire the massive stones up to 3 meters high used in its construction.

We will continue to Qenqo, an ancient Puma temple, where you can see a stone altar for offerings inside a huge rock.

We will visit Tambomachay, where the sacred fountains of life and health are located.

Enjoy a panoramic view of Puca Pucará, where there was a watchtower during Inca times.

Later, we will visit the Temple of the Sun Qorikancha, on which the Convent of Santo Domingo was built (local history says this temple was completely covered in gold).

To conclude, we will visit the Plaza de Armas (main square) and the Cathedral, which houses invaluable colonial artworks and paintings (such as The Last Supper and the choir).
DAY 3: INCA VILLAGE OF CHINCHERO, MORAY TERRACES AND LIVING INCA VILLAGE OF OLLANTAYTAMBO

We will depart for the town of Chinchero, the highest and most picturesque in the Sacred Valley, famous for its weaving women.

We will make a brief stop at a textile center to appreciate and learn about the ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning Alpaca wool.

We will visit its Inca plaza with its beautiful colonial church.

Then we will continue to Moray, a beautiful Inca archaeological site composed of circular agricultural terraces that were used as an agricultural laboratory to recreate microclimates.

Lunch will be in Urubamba.

We will continue to visit the last living Inca town, Ollantaytambo.

We will visit the Princess’s Baths and the Temple of the Sun.

DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU, WONDER OF THE WORLD
